My students right now in my present school are children with cortical visual impairments and with autism. I been teaching this type of populations for 5 years now. I know how to handle this children, modified their instructions and accommodate them in my lesson. CVI or cortical visually impaired needs great modifications depending on CVI range in the scale. If both of these disabilities is present in a child, the teacher should be very creative to make sure they are within the expectations of the district.
