I've been teaching statistics and SPSS to undergraduates for over 20 years. I love to see students "get it" after they initially feel that stats is beyond them. I think that sometimes one-on-one teaching is best for many students, but this cannot happen in a classroom full of others. I like that I have the opportunity to reach out now and really influence students on a different level.
I have tons of interesting examples to run analyses on, and I can explain in accurate, non technical language. Equations are important, but expect to also understand the "why" behind what you are doing. Let's get to work.
I've taught hundreds of college students, many of whom have advanced to graduate level statistics. Students often comment on how invested I am in getting them to succeed.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
