Shalom. I have spent my entire career in Jewish Education. My Hebrew language teaching experience has included age levels from preschool students through and including adults.
I have taught basic language skills (reading and writing) to more advanced conversation, Bar and Bat Mitzvah coaching, and cataloging Hebrew language materials for a library. As a native English speaker, I understand the challenges of learning Hebrew.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a Master's Degree in Jewish Education and have taught Hebrew language for my entire career. I have tutored privately over the years, both children and adults. Tutoring included basic reading and writing skills as well as conversation and Bar and Bat Mitzvah coaching. Methods used are suited to the learning style of the student.
