I have lots of experience as student, teacher, and in engineering practice. I've taught physics at the college level, worked as an electrical test engineer (specializing in three phase power systems and equipment), and been nuclear trained by the US Navy (Submarine Officer). My electrical engineering training involved eleven different physics courses. My Navy training gave me nuclear engineering as well as various physics subjects related to submarine operation.

My teaching is oriented towards successful test performance. Yes, understanding is important, but showing your understanding on tests is what matters to those who decide your educational destiny. I like to show students clues and shortcuts to the right answers.
