Hello! I am a biostatistician at the NIH. I have always excelled in mathematics and science coursework from high school through undergraduate and especially in graduate school.
I love to understand my student's strengths and weaknesses and use that to enhance their innate learning ability. I usually also like to involve the parents in my students academic progress, because I believe learning is a family-intensive process!
I have formally tutored elementary children in reading and writing, and middle school / high school students in mathematics/statistics. Also, I have extensive experience in Microsoft Office applications, SAS (statistical software), and STATA.
I believe in success with a smile, and so I look forward to hearing from you soon! Hello! I am a biostatistician at the NIH. I have always excelled in mathematics and science coursework from high school through undergraduate and especially in graduate school.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taken 6 semesters of biostatistics at The Ohio State University, and now work at the NIH as a professional biostatistician. I have studied and done well in linear regression, logistic regression, missing data, and multivariate analysis courses, and use all of these skills and then some in my work on a daily basis.
I am a biostatistician at the NIH. I was a volunteer after-school teacher for K-6 students in Michigan for 3 years of high school, and I have retained those skills since then. I have informally tutored many elementary children in reading and writing, and also middle school through high school students in mathematics and related subjects.
I got the maximum score on the GRE in the quantitative section and have retained the skills I used to maximize the time given for those sections. I would love for others to benefit form what I have learned as well!
