I am an experienced teacher and tutor. From elementary math to algebra and geometry, from learning to read and decoding to reading fluency, from private music instruction to computer training, my flexibility allows me to tailor my approach and explanations to meet each student's needs. I go beyond the worksheet to games and activities that promote understanding and learning.

I believe in setting the bar high and achieving with patience and practice. I've worked with both adults and children from all backgrounds and with varying learning abilities. I can explain in simple terms and give multiple examples that draw on your background and experiences, equating new material to things you already understand.

I believe you can do it. Let me help you!

In the beginning, Algebra can seem like a foreign language. Do you find yourself asking, "What are real numbers, rational numbers, integers?" Or maybe, "What does it mean when a + 7 = 13?" Perhaps you're saying, "My graph looks nothing like the graph in the book!" I can explain this and more, in clear terms. Together we can overcome your confusion and you can gain a solid foundation for Algebra and beyond.
