I'm 15, have been doing art for years, and Carol has been teaching me for approximately three months online. In this time, I've progressed from being a passionate but untrained artist to someone who understands the main principles of accurate 3d drawing. I've learned how to measure for proportion so that I'm not just "eyeballing it", I've learned how to properly blend and highlight using kneaded erasers and blenders, and most of all, I've learned the principles of how light looks on different shapes so that I have a basic sense of how to draw realistically without relying on copying from the original image. These techniques, Among others, have helped transform me into a much better artist. I highly recommend her.

Very knowledgable and encouraging

Carol is teaching me how to draw freehand. On our first lesson I left understanding some technical knowledge about measurements, lines and proportions. The lesson provided not only technical knowledge but also practical experience. I'm looking forward to our next lesson!

Very Good Teacher

I had a lot of fun during the lesson! I drew some basic stuff and learned something about different lines. I drew some tropical birds and my homework is to make the background with a forest.
