I am currently finishing up my Bachelor's degree in physics at WPI. I have been a lab instructor and grader, and grader and tutor for college freshman and sophomore level physics courses (I explain this in more detail below). Through that, I have needed to assist with math concepts as well.

I am currently finishing up my Bachelor's degree in physics at WPI. I have been a lab instructor and grader, and grader and tutor for college freshman and sophomore level physics courses (I explain this in more detail below). Through that, I have needed to assist with math concepts as well.

Teaching lab and holding help sessions for students were some of my favorite experiences in college. Once I finish my degree, I intend to take the MTEL exam and get my Prelimary Teaching License. I plan on getting a Masters degree in Physics Education.

During the course of my physics education, I have taken a significant number of math courses, including calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations. My time as a physics TA has occasionally led to students asking for math related help to complete their physics work. These topics have included calculus, differential equations, and algebra.

To complete my degree, I have taken a lot of physics courses, including mechanics, electricity and magnetism, oscillations and waves, and modern physics. As stated above, I was a lab instructor and grader for freshman physics labs. This involved explaining the lab assignment to students and assisting when they had questions. I also helped with homework assignments, upon the students' requests. I have also been a grader for sophomore level mechanics, and held scheduled help sessions to which the students could go at their leisure. In those help sessions, I did anything from homework help to test review, including simply going over material to reinforce the professor's lectures.

I very much enjoy teaching. Helping a student understand concepts, and reinforcing their confidence in their own intelligence, is a truly rewarding experience for me. I encourage prospective students to contact me to learn more. I look forward to working with you.

Knowledgable and patient tutor.

Today, we went over the basics of vector math. We went over vector notation, vector addition and subtraction, and the two types of vector products. We also went over different ways to algebraically solve a sample problem from lecture.

Physics Exam Prep

We were able to go through the practice problems for my exam. I definitely feel better prepared than on my earlier exams.
