My love of teaching and tutoring comes from the desire to give every student their best chance at success. As a student diagnosed with dyslexia in 7th grade who holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Education, is a graduate student, and who holds a Massachusetts teacher certification, I know that the right teacher and hard work can pay off.
I have a degree in English and a background teaching math to incoming college freshman. My diverse knowledge makes me a great teacher for struggling students of all subjects and gives me an appreciation for all learning types. I believe in teaching each student as he or she needs and I adapt my teaching style to each students learning style.
I am flexible with student’s schedules and can meet at a student’s home or any public location.
I look forward to hearing from you and getting the chance to work with you.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
