I have taught ESL credit and non-credit bearing courses at the college level for more than twenty years. I love working with this dedicated population and admire the hard work my students do to improve their lives. I have also customized workplace based non-credit ESL programs delivered at various workplace sites in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I am read, write and speak Spanish, Portuguese and French which helps develop excellent rapport with many of my ESL students.
I particularly enjoy seeing my students succeed and move on to higher levels of education or more success in the workplace. I have experience speaking, reading and writing Spanish, French and Portuguese and can often bridge the gaps in understanding by using other language skills. I am seeking opportunities to work directly with individuals or groups as a tutor or instructor.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
