Harvard 2X Grad: LSAT, SAT, ACT, GMAT, and GRE Test Expert
Students tell me that I help them with admission tests and applications to become more successful than they ever thought possible in being admitted to their number one choices of college, law, business, or graduate schools. I especially enjoy helping those with uncommon learning characteristics.
How? I teach everyone to understand what the test makers and admissions officers have in mind and customize my approach to fit their specific strengths.

Great Tutor!
Don is a great teacher. He has an innate ability to see things from the students perspective and explain to the students where their thought process has gone awry. And to do this in a way that the student can understand. I was struggling with my LSAT score and after a three hour session with Don I was able to see where I was going wrong. He explained it to me so simply and clearly that I was shocked I hadn't noticed it on my own. It was a true "aha" moment. After I explained to him my thought process on the incorrect answers he was able to "get in my head" and help me fix my own thought process. With Don's help I went from in the 60th percentile to the 93rd percentile on my LSAT. A jump of close to 20 points. There is no doubt in my mind that this jump is due in a large part to Don's help, and I believe I could have scored even higher had I gone to Don earlier and had more tutoring sessions with him.
Jameson, 1 lesson with DonaldTutor responded:Jameson is very generous with his comments. At our only lesson, I diagnosed that he had only one issue that was keeping him for scoring high. Over the course of three hours, I was able to explain that issue and successfully give him directions for how to overcome it. Most of my students have two to six issues that require improvement, so it's more typical to need six or seven lessons with me, rather than just one, to earn a high score on the LSAT.
Great session!
I did one session with Don and already learned a bunch of strategies that will surely help me. His understanding and true passion for education goes along way. If you can afford it, I would 100% recommend Don.

Don very quickly sized up my 13 year old son, and came up with a clear strategy to help him not only accomplish his SSAT goals but also do better as a student at school. He strikes exactly the right tone and I can readily imagine that his tone is tailored for each individual learner with whom he works. I believe my son will learn much more efficiently with Don than he would in an SSAT course, so time and attitude saved giving good luck a chance to happen.

The dedicated journey to success
Once you embark on the LSAT and law school journey, you will understand the time, effort, dedication and persistence that needs to go into the process. However, an experience I would only recommend going about with Don. I am no stranger to school and all that it entails, I am currently working towards a dual graduate degree in Chicago and imagined that preparing for my next leg of education would follow a similar process. Rather, after scoring in the low 130's on a diagnostic LSAT I was crushed, discouraged, even embarrassed because who would want to work with someone with such low score? Was there any hope? I knew that with my schedule I needed an online tutor - which I was skeptical about, because being a student you are used to having hands on experience. Moreover, I came across Don's profile and without even a second guess knew that he was the tutor for me. His biography resonated with me and what I was looking for. I Instantly reached out and we hit the ground running within a few days. Don is the most supportive, tentative and receptive educator I have ever had the honor and privilege of working with. From day one he got to know me as a person, who I was, what my history was like in order to have a better understanding of my mind and how it works. The open and honest environment he provides allows you, as a student, to ask questions, adjust strategies that aren't working and continue to make progress all at once. The remarkable thing is that this is all happening online, I am receiving the most eye opening experience through Skype, something I never imagined. I started my first lesson with Don at the end of January and will take my LSAT in early June. With the time that has progressed I am currently scoring at the 170's (WOW - my thoughts exactly). Never in my wildest dreams did I picture an improve such as this. However, it is countless hours of practice on my behalf - but Don is the number one reason for this success. He showed me that it was okay to make mistakes along the way (this is normal!), that it was going to be an up hill battle for improvement, but a journey we would take together due to it being an exam that is very different from most standardized test. Don is there every step of the way, through the successful times and setbacks, he will be your biggest advocate, while giving you the straight forward opinion you need to push forward. It is hard to put into words the amount of respect and appreciation I have for Don. He sees each of his students as a bright and worthy person, not a number and wants them to achieve that personal satisfaction they are looking to seek. I look forward to each of my lessons with Don because I know I am walking into an environment that is going to provide me with the foundation I need to grow and develop. If you are looking for someone who wants you to succeed just as much as you do - Don is for you. You will get everything you can expect and more from your time with Don, I will promise you that. So, Don, thank you for being such an influential light on this experience for me - for that I am unconditionally thankful.

Don is a Tremendous Tutor
I came to Don in late July to get some assistance with studying for the LSATS. I had little to no prior knowledge of how to approach the test and within a month and a half, Don had me improve my LSAT score by 15 points with just about a dozen lessons or so. He is a very patient and knowledgeable man who takes his time in making sure all areas of the test are covered. He is one of the best tutors I've had the privilege of working with and truly cares about the well-being of his students. The level of detail he helps you to understand with the material really makes you feel comfortable and confident in doing well on the test.

Phenomenal LSAT tutor
Don is an excellent tutor, especially for the LSAT. His knowledge, expertise, and understanding of the LSAT are unmatched by any other tutor I had encountered. He is patient, kind, and works hard to see his students grow. He spent time learning my learning style in order to teach me the most effective methods and strategies. Thanks to Don's help and guidance I felt extremely well prepared for the LSAT.
