My love for teaching young students started as a hobby and now it is my profession. From my personal experience, I know that learning mathematics is fun and sometimes challenging. As one of the substitute teachers in the Boston area, I have helped a lot of students to understand mathematics, and have made them feel that math is a fun subject; in that process, I have increased their understanding of mathematics.
I have a license for teaching mathematics at elementary school level from Massachusetts Department of Education and specialize in teaching grade level math to students in grades 1-6. I try to understand each student's current ability at Mathematics and help them improve their skills to their grade level and better.
I am flexible with time. I am happy to travel to another location if that is more convenient for the student. However, I can be available for tutoring online as well at a specific time.
I look forward to hearing from anyone interested in improving their current math skills and reach to their potential.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
