I am a firm believer that music is beneficial in many aspects of life. Piano study develops not only a lifelong appreciation and love for music, but also important life skills. It develops your creativity, concentration, dedication and perseverance. Refines your time management and organisation skills, enhances mathematical ability, and increases responsibility and memory capacity (just to name some of the many advantages of learning and instrument). For this reason my studio is open to everyone willing to learn how to play, from 4 years old to retired adults. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
