As a senior at a Private R1 Research University with a vigorous liberal arts core, I am well-rounded in the social sciences. I am majoring in both Sociology and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with minors in English, Social Justice/Policy, and Psychology. This coursework has molded me into a very efficient and well-rounded writer in all areas of writing including fiction, poetry, literary analysis, academic writing, and industry-specific/major-specific writing. Currently, I am working to complete my honors thesis in WGS on the topic of the application of intersectional feminism and love to heal trauma. So far, it has been a tough but rewarding experience and I'm looking forward to seeing what I learn about myself in the process.

I understand the challenges of learning, especially as someone who is a student myself. I get that it can be frustrating when learning a new topic. With an empathetic approach, I like to let you naturally open up and feel comfortable with me as a tutor. I want you to know that I am on your side and will do everything I can to help you succeed. After I graduate this year, I plan on getting my Masters in English and then pursue a PhD in education policy while continuing to pursue my passion to teach and tutor. I am hoping this puts me in a career in academia. In high school, I attended a college preparatory school where I took all AP and Honors curricula, giving me in-depth experience in most AP and Honors coursework in the social sciences and earning a 5 on all of my AP exams.
