My name is Cesar and I am looking to tutor students in need of assistance with Elementary and High School Mathematics. I am a graduate of Boston University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. I also have a Masters of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The core emphasis of my education was in Algebra, Calculus, and Geometry. In addition to my knowledge of math and science, I am fluent in conversational Spanish and have five years of high school French.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help my students get the answers to homework or exams, but to help them understand the process and strengthen their abilities to apply their skills outside of the classroom. Although on-line tutoring is the way of the future, I prefer to meet in person to develop a better relationship with the student and their parent(s), have them see my methods to solve the problems, and work together to develop their own strategies. My tutoring hours are from Monday to Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM, but I can make myself available outside of these times, upon request. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I will try to get back to your inquiries within 24 hours.
I look forward to working with you soon!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
