Hello there my name is Jason. I am a middle school teacher. I have been teaching now for 3 years. I am a certified Technology Education teacher. What this means is that I teach anything from wood shop to computers. I have also for one semester co taught a college level class. As part of my student teaching I worked in a high school and a middle school and even taught an intro to physics class. I always strive to get the most out of my students but I do not provide them will all the answers. I make them work to get the answers and figure things out. I make sure my students stay on track and are always giving 100% effort. These are the values I instill in my classroom.
While I have never worked as a tutor, I have had times where I have worked with students after school to create a more 1 on 1 atmosphere. I have had MCAS prep classes after school in which I have wrote the students study guides and gone over effective test skills. I am a positive and hard working person who looks for the same qualities in students. I know not everyone will be an expert at everything but one thing everyone can be an pro on is the amount of effort they put forth. I love showing and teaching people new things. I am a hard worker and I work with people to make sure they have a good understating of what they are learning. I am flexible and patient. I have good knowledge in all things computers and Technology.
I am fluent in Microsoft programs. PowerPoint, Excel, and word. I also have knowledge in CADD and general computer knowledge.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
