Dear Reader, I am a graduate of Springfield Technical Community College, in Springfield, Massachusetts where I grew up and from where I also graduated with a degree in General Studies. In 2017, I matriculated at Westfield State University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in English, with a focus on literature. In addition to that, I graduated the college with a minor degree in Biology. Currently, I am enrolled at American International College, where I will earn a Master's degree in Science this Fall. I have 5 years of experience tutoring adults and children with dyslexia. I am most interested in tutoring online because I know how challenging it can be for students to interact with instructors through email, understand vague instructions on class assignments, and compose well-written responses that often get published on academic forums where other students get to read and discuss your writing process.
I regret not graduating from Springfield Technical Community College with a minor degree in Biology, because I have a lot of credits on the subject with the college. However, it was not all lost, as I went on to earn many work hours tutoring Biology and Microbiology for Trio Student Support Services, a federally funded program created to assist students with disabilities. Please feel free to contact me if you need help with topics like mitosis, miosis, cellular organelles, cellular functions, taxonomy, and more.
At the core of my academic studies is a strong sense of the importance of reading, writing, and public speaking. Contact me if you need help remembering the strategies that made us all proficient at self-editing, revision, paragraph organization, grammar, and deciphering through the old English language that most Shakespeare plays are written in.
