I am a current CISSP, CISA, Security+, MCSE, CCNA, Network+ certified IT professional. Training employees is one of my tasks with my current job, and I spend time daily tutoring employees on technical subjects. I have a background working in information security with the military including running training classes for new signal officers to learn about defending networked systems. I enjoy tutoring and have additional experience teaching as a SCUBA instructor and leading MCITP classes.
I have nearly 20 years of experience in the IT industry and can work with you on passing your certification exams, understanding the materials underlying the exams, building your own lab, and providing real-world examples of how technology works - both from a best practice scenario and a nightmarish configuration waiting for a disaster.

I have an expert level of knowledge in information security and Microsoft systems, and over twelve years of experience in advanced networking. I have approximately five years of experience providing technical instruction.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have more than 20 years of experience with Microsoft Windows, including every desktop and server operating system from MS DOS 6 through Windows 10. I have taught MCITP classes which are advanced classes on Windows Server environments. I have additionally taught Windows security classes in the U.S. Army.
I have earned the CCNA certification from Cisco four times and the CCNA Security designation twice. I have advanced networking skills and have over 15 years experience working in networks of various sizes. I have additionally taught network security classes in the U.S. Army.
