Clennon is a seasoned writer, video editor and producer whose clients have included the Boston Globe and boston.com. He recently received an award for his civil rights documentary, Passage at St. Augustine © 2015.
While he trained at NYU’s Graduate Film program for a year, his real preparation came after spending more than a decade as an award-winning TV news reporter, and later anchor, at network affiliates like KXAS in Dallas, WSVN in Miami, WSB in Atlanta, WALA in Mobile, WGBH in Boston and WTLV/WJXX in Jacksonville.
When he is not teaching, he produces website, fundraising and marketing videos for area non-profits looking to convey their mission and tell their story. I am patient and eager to share my knowledge of I Movie and Final Cut Pro X.
If you are considering my services and would like to interview me by phone, please give me a call. Many thanks. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I trained at New York University's Graduate School of Film. I spent more than a decade as a on-air TV news journalist, reporting at affiliates in Dallas, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Miami, Boston and Mobile. I have earned multiple awards for my work, including an Emmy nomination, both a regional and national Edward R. Murrow, and recognition from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. More recently, I received
an award for an hour long documentary I wrote, edited and produced, in addition to continuing to produce videos for area nonprofits.
