I have taught English as a Second Language since getting my masters in 1979 as well as worked as a speech pathologist.
I understand language acquisition from the point of view of a "regular" language learner as well as a language disabled learner.
I worked abroad for eight years, four in Japan, two years in Italy and two years in Sudan - all teaching experiences. I have traveled extensively as well. I am interested in language and culture and how culture affects learning.
I know the process of language acquisition and the process interests me. I read extensively for pleasure. I am a word person.
Mary hasn’t set a schedule.
