I have a Bachelor's degree from UMass Amherst, a TEFL certificate from San Diego State University, as well as a Master's degree in TESOL from Alliant University. I have taught at the Army Navy Academy in San Diego, CA and I have assistant taught at San Diego State University. In Massachusetts, I have taught at FLS language school as well as EF language school, both of which are in Boston.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
