I started tutoring for WyzAnt between college graduation and my first job as an analyst in the insurance industry. For the next 6 years, I took time off from tutoring to focus on my career, but never lost the love for tutoring. I started tutoring for WyzAnt between college graduation and my first job as an analyst in the insurance industry. For the next 6 years, I took time off from tutoring to focus on my career, but never lost the love for tutoring. Today, I continue to help co-workers solve business problems using data to solve business problems.

While attending Temple University, I was the lead tutor for the Undergraduate and Graduate business school focusing on math courses ranging from lower level math to algebra to calculus to statistics.

I turned students of all ages (13-50+) and backgrounds from bottom of their class to A and B students.
I am very patient and work with students until they not only understand the material to solve their homework or exams, but have them explain to me how to solve the problem as if I have never seen the material before. I create easy to remember techniques to solve math problems that can be replicated without assistance.

Besides math, I have a passion for Microsoft Excel and have worked 8 hours a day for the last 6+ years in Excel mastering formulas, formats, graphs, pivot tables, macros and more at work. I'm the go-to person at the office for Excel related questions and enjoy solving business problems.

I am hardworking, punctual, and well organized.

Regards,
Michael

Highly Knowledgeable and is very patient

I highly recommend Michael for tutoring in Microsoft Excel. He knows a lot of shortcuts in working with Microsoft Excel, very helpful, and patient with the students.

Knowledgable and patient tutor.

Michael taught me how to better understand absolute value in spreadsheets. He didn't get impatient with me when I didn't understand something right away. Now I feel more confident after the lesson. He is an awesome tutor.

Great tutor!

Michael K. is a great tutor for my 11th grade son in Trigonometry. He is a mature and professional tutor and has a good rapport with my son. He explains things well and my son feels more confident about mastering the math now that he has been meeting with Michael. His grades are improving, too! I recommend Michael K. very highly!
