I have been working on a lesson plan for graduate school. I am working towards a Masters in Special Education, Moderate Disabilities, Grades 5-12. I had many different ideas for the lesson plan but it was too long and did not flow well. Kate helped me make it smaller and flow better without compromising what I need to cover everything.
Kate is great! She is flexible with her time and always tries to work around our schedule. She is patient with my daughter and gives me a full recap of what she did during the session. I have seen awesome growth in my daughter with Kate's guidance and help.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
