I love studying Chinese with her. She knows English extremely well, so is able to fluidly address nuances in the meaning of Chinese words and phrases. She is very organized and prepares excellent slides for each lesson. She is the best!

Phenomenal Teacher
Stephanie is a dedicated and skillful teacher who makes practicing Chinese a breeze. She always has a positive attitude and never makes me feel rushed when practicing conversation. She is also very good at guessing what I am trying to say, even when I get tones or even the entire pinyin wrong. I’m not quite sure how she does it! Another very important quality is that she always has clear, nuanced answers to my questions, even when they are from somewhere random and not from the text. Finally, I appreciate that she was willing to be flexible about class material, and even developed lesson plans around a show I was watching. I’m looking forward to more classes in the future, and cannot recommend her highly enough!
