Longy conservatory (performance)
I offer violin lessons out of my Studio in Roslindale, MA. I also teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Solfege, and Ear-Training.
I graduated from the Longy Conservatory, and have been teaching private lessons for the last 3 years. I have been on the faculty at Norfolk School of Music, and I am currently a faculty member of The Suzuki School of Newton. I also substitute for Strings classes at JP Pilot School. I have been freelancing and playing around the Boston and New England area for years. I began studying violin at the age of 6 and have been going strong since!
I love to play and to perform as well as teach music. Music can make a profound difference in anyone's life. There are many levels which someone can engage in music. Whether as a serious music student interested in conservatory training, or as someone who does it for the love of playing. I teach anyone who wants to play and learn!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
