I've been a professional musician my whole life, and have been teaching for most of that time. I perform on electric and upright bass, guitar, mandolin, cornet, valve trombone, and tuba. I've been all around the world playing music, recorded, and taught both privately and in public schools. I specialize in jazz and American roots music, but I can work with rockers or just about anybody else. I can tell you what you want to know. Give it a shot!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
