I have taught 6th grade, mentored many students in life and in school. My work as a para-educator allowed me to continue mentoring and apply my tutor abilities.I recently worked as an In home Therapeutic Mentor with CHD. I graduated from UMass Amherst in 2013 with my Bachelors in History and a minor in education.
Every great leader once had a great mentor or tutor. I believe in helping individuals become the greatest version of themselves not only in the classroom but in life. My tutoring style includes connecting with my students in an authentic way and providing them with skills that bring out the best in them so that they can feel more confident in the work they are being asked to do.
As an athlete since I was 10, sports have been a huge part of my life. I was offered a full ride scholarship to play at the University of Pittsburgh my Junior year of high school. I played college football for five years.
All though the athletic aspect of sports was amazing, what is really valuable is the lessons and disciplines that I learned that I STILL use to this day. I also coached a sixth grade Rugby and flag football team.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Football was a great big part of my life. I have played with many players who are now in the NFL. My football career was played at the University of Pittsburgh where I played running back, and also at the Unjversity of Massachusetts.
