About Fred

I am a practicing attorney with broad experience in any areas of law. I have also taught classes and seminars in various aspects of law. I can help students learn legal concepts and the "legal method" of how to approach problems and deal with them.
I also have considerable experience in drafting and can help organize materials as well as teach how to write clearly and concisely.
My experience in many areas of law and business allows me to help students understand the underlying principles involved in legal and business matters.
I am also very personable and like to flavor my teachings with stories which are entertaining as well as help to illustrate points being discussed.
I can tutor English as a second language or a first language, and can also help students with writing and grammar.
I can also assist learning in American history and government.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
