About David

My name is David. I starting tutoring when I was in college. As a pre-medical student, my grades and the grades of my classmates were of great importance. I started by helping out a few friends in the hard subject of French since as a Native French speaker, it was a piece of cake for me. Then, I helped with Organic Chemistry as well; another complicated subject.
Today, I have tutored more than a 100 students. The ones who were willing to put in the effort have done very well in their classes.

I have never gotten less than an A in any math course up to Calculus including it. If I can do it, so can you.

I strongly urge you to get in touch with me to learn more about my unique style and to schedule lessons in the future.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

French

I was born and raised in Paris. I went to Université de Henri 4 and studied French Lit.

Organic Chemistry

I was a premedical student in college. A Premed student must take regular chemistry 1 and 2. Do well to move on to Organic Chemistry 1 and 2. I have done all in all 4 classes. Took the DAT and scored a 22 in Organic Chemistry. I have tutored many of my friends with the Organic Chem section on the MCAT and on the DAT.

My method is very simple. The reason why so many students struggle with "Orgo" is because it is a brand new alphabet that they aren't familiar with. I first teach them this "new alphabet" and then I teach them section by section starting with nomenclature and ended with synthesis/or reverse synthesis. Side note: I was accepted to medical school.
