I am an experienced tutor who has passed the MTEL exams and have been a student of French for over 17 years. My previous experience working with native French speakers in a bilingual office and fluency in French have given me the ability to help others to excel in their acquisition of a new language. In the past, I have worked with beginner and intermediate level pupils as well as advanced immersion students. While attending college, I was recommended by faculty to tutor beginner through intermediate level French students. As a graduate of a French immersion program, I have been able to incorporate my own experience learning a second language to successfully help students struggling with pronunciation, reading comprehension, and writing. My experiences have ranged from substituting for conversational French classes to preparing students by reviewing concepts for written and oral exams. Once we have accessed your strengths and weaknesses, I can tailor my style to your specific needs.
