I have been certified by the states of both Pennsylvania and New Jersey as an elementary teacher for grades K-8. From 2011-2013, I supervised an after school program at my local public school, where I also taught all aspects of cooking. I planned the lessons, purchased ingredients, and encouraged active participation by my students. They enjoyed the lessons tremendously. In fact, many students said that cooking was their favorite class. I have also prepared menus for people with specialized diet requirements. I’ve worked with vegetarians, vegans, and raw foodists.
