From the first time my daughter met Ping, I could see that they would be a good match. Ping is very patient and devoted teacher. My daughter is happy that things she deemed as difficult are actually simple. The joy my daughter once had in math is now being rekindled thanks to Ping!
Ping is knowledgeable and very encouraging. She expertly mixes in vocabulary along with the rules of Mandarin in a measured way so that I always leave feeling confident and not overwhelmed.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
