About Robert

I graduated from Marblehead H.S. in 1966 and completed my Ph.D. in Engineering at R.P.I. During my career at General Electric I was a lecturer and adjunct professor at Union College Graduate School teaching engineering subjects. I always loved learning math and science and was gratified during my engineering career to see how often that knowledge was essential to my work.

I was the top math student in my high school graduating class, and did National Honor Society math tutoring to under-classmen, enjoying it very much. I have had a long career in engineering which has given me a knowledge to many practical applications of high school math in the real world.

I am just beginning to work as a tutor, so I am charging a low-end rate until I gain experience. I have a very flexible schedule and will travel to your home for the tutoring sessions. Contact me today!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Great Tutor!

My son had his first Physics test today and stated it was the first time he felt confident taking a Physics test. We are extremely pleased with the progress he has made.
