Hello and welcome to my page! I have been teaching mathematics and statistics for several years. My passion is teaching. I enjoy the look I get when someone finally understands the material. I have a B.S in Mathematics as well as a PhD in Probability and Statistics.
I have worked as a statistician for several years as a consultant, usually in oncology and epidemiology. As an instructor, I find that different students have a unique way to learn. Whether it is by hearing or seeing, I accommodate both needs and adjust my teaching style accordingly.
If you need help in your mathematics course I would love to hear from you!

He patiently showed me through the difficulties of statistical analysis to solving problems through established methods and guiding insight. I am not well-trained in math, but he helped me to learn to use analytical programming to advance my understanding. He encourages learning by taking discrete, understandable steps toward a solution. I look forward to my next lesson.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
My degree is in pure and applied mathematics and I have taught this subject for several years.
After receiving my MS and PhD from Northeastern University in pure and applied mathematics and probability and statistics, I have taught (and continue to teach) many mathematics courses which include (but not limited to): algebra 2, discrete math, finite math, geometry, linear algebra, precalculus, calculus 1, 2, and 3, trigonometry, differential equations, and statistics and probability. I have been teaching these subjects for over 10 years.
I have helped many nurses with their dosage calculation courses. The course entails a lot of math to calculate drip rates, safe dosage range, etc. I have my degree in pure and applied math.
