About Kim

Hello,
I am a seasoned nurse educator. I have taught nursing for 6 years in an academic setting. I have also worked clinical nurse educator in a hospital. I have been an RN for 30 years. My expertise is in medication calculations, test taking strategies and study skills to help you to be successful on your exams. If you are looking for help in preparing for a repeat attempt at the NCLEX exam, you are not alone. I have been working with several students who came for tutoring after not passing on their first attempt. A couple of one to one sessions with a tutor may be just what you need to regain your confidence. I am looking forward to helping you to join a fabulous profession!

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

We went over testing strategies, how to break down questions and came up with a study plan. She listened, encouraged and help me set up a strong foundation of how to tackle this exam! I'm grateful for her time and confident that she'll help me achieve what I've set out to do!
