Bio

I am a college graduate from Stetson University, who majored in Business Management. I have been tutoring students of all ages at Stetson and outside of Stetson for 8 years. I was recommended by a Stetson University professor, and that is how I became a tutor. I have taken several math courses (up to Calculus) and I am able to tutor a student in various subjects from grades kindergarten to high school.

I am a college graduate from Stetson University, who majored in Business Management. I have been tutoring students of all ages at Stetson and outside of Stetson for 8 years. I was recommended by a Stetson University professor, and that is how I became a tutor. I have taken several math courses (up to Calculus) and I am able to tutor a student in various subjects from grades kindergarten to high school.

I love working with people of all ages and I love seeing the students I tutor show improvement on their tests and homework, as well as retain the knowledge.

My approach with students is to first assess what a student's learning style is and then create a lesson plan according to the student's needs. I understand that there are many ways to teach a student, but I have found that basing a lesson on their needs is the way a student learns best.

I volunteer at a local elementary school, where I read to children and then tutor them in core subjects from grades K-5. I also attend a tutoring assembly every month to discuss new tutoring strategies.

I believe there is no challenge that cannot be overcome, and with the right assistance, any student can do well.

I am knowledgeable in teaching students how to schedule meetings using this program and I am also skilled in making business connections using this program. Recently, Microsoft Outlook has been upgraded at my university and I have been trained on how to use the new system as well.

Great Tutor!!!

Sabrina is a wonderful teacher. She is very patient and explains everything thorough. Zackery looks forward to her coming and gets very excited the day she comes to tutor him. I have noticed a change in Zackery's work whether it be Math, Spelling or Writing. He is doing great. And he is proud of himself. I would recommend Sabrina to anyone. She is a sweet girl!!!

Sabrina is an excellent tutor. She is very patient and my son says that she explains algebra and geometry in a way that makes it much easier for him to understand.
