Finally, we found someone who can help my son not only understand Math but can actually explain it. Thank you Mr. Russo - can't wait to see what the future holds.
Brian R. is a great math tutor. When our 14 years old son changed school, we found out that he was behind in math. He had D before Brian started tutoring. Now he has A and he he is more confident with math.
Brian is patient, friendly and reliable tutor. We highly recommend Brian!
Brian was wonderful-my son really enjoyed working with him and said he was great at helping him gain a greater understanding of the math concepts he's working on in class.
Brian is very patient and understanding of individual student needs. He has helped my daughter gain confidence and ability using a very easy going approach. Her pre-algebra grade is the highest its ever been!
He is able to adapt his teaching skill(s) to my daughter's individual learning style(s); she has gained confidence in her Math skills and her grades have improved - he is a wonderful teacher. She also finds his lessons fun, and looks forward to working with him.
Brian has been tutoring my daughter in Algebra 2 for several months. She is finally finishing the class this week. As much as my daughter hates math, she likes Brian and doesn't dread her tutoring sessions (which is saying a lot!) Brian has been very patient and is great with his explanations. He shows up promptly and keeps her on task, even when she tries to take him off topic. He always responded to texts or e-mails. I would recommend Brian.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
