I believe I would make an outstanding Elementary Math tutor because I am passionate about math, can teach students several different strategies to solve a single problem, and can break things down so it is better understood.
ELA is one of my absolute passions. Teaching young children to read and write is a privilege. I love seeing the growth children can make in such a short amount of time. I use a variety of strategies to help students learn and grow in reading and writing.
I teach explicit handwriting lessons to teach students how to properly form their letters, words, numbers, and much more!
I believe I would make an outstanding phonics tutor because I teach it explicitly in my classroom daily. I have a systematic approach that builds slowly overtime so students are able to build and connect their knowledge with what they already know.
