Working with students with special needs is a great part of my teaching experience. I have worked with students from kindergarten to 3rd grade with both behavioral and learning disabilities. I work with a calm voice and can help a child achieve his/her goals with patience, as well as help to increase his/her self-confidence. Working with students with special needs is a great part of my teaching experience. I have worked with students from kindergarten to 3rd grade with both behavioral and learning disabilities. I work with a calm voice and can help a child achieve his/her goals with patience, as well as help to increase his/her self-confidence. Each student I have worked with has needed different types of instructional methods. I will work with their classroom teachers, if necessary, to assist your child in their studies, be it in mathematics or language arts. All students are important learners, and I hope that with both school and tutoring assistance, I can help your child reach his/her learning potential.

I am experienced in TouchMath, Response to Intervention (RTI), and utilize a largely hands-on approach to assist students in their learning. I have recently completed my Master's degree courses in Special Education (Moderate Disabilities, PreK-8) and will use my knowledge to help any student.

Very Patient.

I was very happy with her work. My daughter improved a great deal while she was tutoring. She was patient and gave my daughter many tools as well as studying techniques. I wish I could keep her longer but due to financial situation I was not able to continue her services. You will not regret doing business with her.

Great tutor

Patricia is a very patient person with an advanced view of my kids problems, she is kind and her voice doesn't change even if she has a hard time keeping control of the student. My son as ADHD/ADD and I couldn't ask for a better person to give these lessons to him. I do recommend her for tutor she is perfect.
