Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

College Counseling

I am currently a Massachusetts licensed guidance counselor (gr. 5-12), and have seven years of experience as a high school guidance counselor. Each year, I have maintained a caseload of approximately 285 students, and have helped them with various post-secondary planning including college and career readiness. I have an undergraduate degree in sociology and a Master's in Education. I am confident in helping juniors and seniors with career and college counseling based on my experience as a high school guidance counselor.
