I'm Francisco, I am finishing my PhD in Applied Mathematics at MIT, and have more than a decade of HS and college level tutoring experience. I have also TA'd many college level courses, so I know what's up! I have also TA'd many college level courses, so I know what's up! I understand that knowing a lot of math is very different from knowing how to teach math, so I try to tailor my classes to my students. I always welcome (and even encourage!) people to provide guides and material of exactly what you want to learn before the session, so I can be better prepare and make the most of our time. I have no problem helping you figure what you need to learn either!
I have been tutoring college level math and physics since 2006, and have TA'd multiple times ( > 10 times) for different math courses, including: Calculus, Differential Equations, Algebra, Combinatorics, and Discrete Math. I usually also try to understand how you better learn: maybe you like to see a lot of examples, or maybe you like hear the bare bones introduction to the subject and then build up. Whatever this is, I will strive to find the right method for you, and welcome all the feedback you give me, so I can improve your experience.
I am easy to reach and have a fairly flexible schedule, feel free to contact me and schedule a lesson!
