About Matthew

I'm a current Harvard student with a strong interest in philosophy, history, and the classics.
I've tutored in the past, and actually worked on the early stages of a tutoring company. I'm passionate about helping people to be the best version of themselves in all respects. While I focus on academic excellence, I also strive to impart the values and mentorship that really ingrain the virtues that lead to success and happiness.

I scored an 800 on SAT Reading and a 790 on Writing, and I can help you to get the best possible score.

I'm fluent in Spanish. I won the National Spanish Exam's trip to Mexico as a junior in high school, and I have since worked in Spanish speaking environments. I know the tricks to learning languages and to learning them fast, and I regularly challenge myself to learn new ones.

If you're serious about improving your academics and your life please feel free to reach out.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
