“**Supportive and Helpful**”

I have always enjoyed teaching it was my first job in undergrad and it is why I am pursuing a graduate degree. I have had over 5 years of tutoring experience in physics and math including working with students with learning disabilities. I have a BS in physics from the University of Rochester as well as an AM in Physics from Harvard University. In

Louis has really helped me target areas of my weaknesses that other courses and self-help content has not. I had an excellent first lesson, during which we covered a lot. I like Louis's approach to teaching. Really feeling much more confident after working with Louis. Also it is good to know that he can help not only with Maths but also with Physics.

Louis was the best tutor I have ever had so far. He was so helpful and I feel so much better about calculus already after the first calculus tutoring with him. Strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a new awesome tutor.

Louis knows the right way to approach all my problem sets and has helped me develop my skills and see complicated problems as more straight forward.

We reviewed for my Calc final, we went through the review and he helped me understand math in a better and efficient way.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have tutored calculus (1,2, and 3) for 4 years. I have also tutored and taught first/second year college level physics courses which require calculus. I use calculus on a day to day basis as a graduate student.

I have taken a college level Differential Equations class and passed with an A. I have 2 years previous tutoring experience specific to Differential Equations.

I have taken two college level classes specific to linear algebra receiving A grades. I have 3 years previous tutoring experience specific to Linear Algebra. I use linear algebra on a consistent basis as part of my ongoing education. I have found that showing work and working meticulously helps students who struggle with this subject.

I am a graduate student who uses Matlab on a daily basis. I have written all of my data acquisition and analysis scripts. I have also written a Monte-Carlo simulation for use in my research.
