Harvard Univ. (biology, psychology)
I help students overcome problems with their studies in economics, biology, ESL, and mathematics.
I earned a bachelor's degree, with a citation in biology, from Harvard. However, I also did rigorous studies in economics, psychology, chemistry, and philosophy.
Apart from my academic background, I worked in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical industry, and in genomics research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently, I teach ESL to non-traditional students and recent immigrants through programs organized by institutions within Cambridge, Massachusetts.
My overall background provides a unique mix that helps me to uncover most of the various problems that bar students from understanding their subjects. I help students overcome problems with their studies in economics, biology, ESL, and mathematics.
$40/hr. for weekly sessions.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have a bachelors degree. Apart from that, I'm very passionate about philosophy and the sciences. Nietzsche, Machiavelli, Locke, and Freud (though he is more recognized as a psychologist) are my favorites, but I still have a great deal of respect for Kant, Marx, Hume, Hobbes, Wagner, Hegel and a host of other thinkers.
I hold a bachelor's degree with a citation for biology. In addition to the various regular biology courses, including anatomy and physiology, I did pathophysiology courses at Harvard Medical School leading to my bachelor's degree.
I have a bachelor's degree from Harvard. Though my degree was awarded for my work in biology, I did a great deal of mathematics up to calculus. My students range from non-traditionals doing GED to college students trying to understand calculus. It's a joy for me to see them come to life after my individualized instructions.
Though my bachelors degree was awarded for my studies in biology, I also did a great deal of rigorous psychology work.
