My lesson with Jane gave me the ability to independently demonstrate the blood pressure vital sign, which I was struggling with for so long.
She was patient, pleasant and made me feel at ease during our lesson. She saw what was holding me back from demonstration blood pressure. By the end of our lesson, I was successfully able to perform blood pressure accurately. I would recommend Jane to any one who is struggling with there studies.
She is also very kind and friendly.
Jane is a very kind and patient tutor. Always been had a hard time getting down to business and studying but with someone to provide a schedule and structure, which Jane does well, it's become easier. She is very knowledgeable in nursing and patient when explaining misunderstood subjects.
Jane is an exceptional tutor. I've always feared taking exams but since I've been meeting with Jane on a weekly basis I feel I have the confidence and test taking skills that I need to succeed at taking my LPN entrance exam.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I frequently tutor students in English, especially when they are taking entrance exams for college programs. Many of these entrance exams deal with English at a high school level so I am comfortable and knowledgeable tutoring in this subject. I am very proficient in writing, and could be very helpful with not only adults, but high school students as well.
I took the NCLEX exam in 2002 and passed on my first try. I have many good tips for passing it, and I am a very good test taker. I have tutored other nursing students to help them pass their test. I also have taken a certified NCLEX study class.
I am a registered nurse for over 10 years, my areas of expertise are Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Neurology, and orthopedics. I passed my NCLEX on first try and have tutored other students to help them pass their test as well. I have worked in acute care settings, and in most of the major hospitals in Boston, and San Francisco. I was a travel nurse for 3 years when I first became registered.
I am a college graduate from a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I got high grades on my SAT's, and passed a board test to become a registered nurse. I have tutored students specifically in passing the NCLEX board test and am very good at studying and helping students study.
I have been playing tennis for almost 30 years. I was on the varsity tennis team in high school and played in college when I was at Arizona State University. I have been ranked on the USTA as well.
