Hello! My name is Chirine and I have been working as a French and Arabic language instructor, with different age groups, since I was still in college.
I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Law and my passion for teaching took me back to school! I'm so excited to be working as a teacher while pursuing graduate courses in the field of Education. I am currently licensed as a foreign language teacher (French) from the Department of Education in MA for grades PreK-6 and 5-12, and I'm also EEC certified.
As a native of Lebanon, I enjoy teaching both Traditional and Colloquial Arabic, I also have native fluency in French, and love teaching it in different levels!
I'm looking forward to hear from you soon!

Chirine is an incredible tutor! As someone with only a beginning understanding of Arabic, Chirine worked with me at my own pace to increase my fluency and understanding of such a complex language. Her lessons were both challenging and rewarding, and I left each session with a feeling of accomplishment. You have the flexibility to select which components (reading, writing, speaking, subject, etc) you want to work on, and Chirine is always available for help. I highly recommend Chirine for any Arabic tutoring and know that my language ability has increased because of her!
I highly recommend Chirine for French or Arabic tutoring! She's very patient and explains grammar and concepts well. She's also quite easy to practice conversing with, and with her help, I improve each week. She genuinely cares about my progress, and I look forward to our lessons. Cannot recommend her enough!
I'm so happy I found Chirine on WyzAnt. She has been great with my lovely, and sometimes challenging, 4 1/2 yr. old twin boys. They have a lot of energy and it can be difficult having them sit still for an hour of French lessons, but Chirine does a great job working with them. She knows how to present the material to them, and bring their attention back to the lesson when they lose their focus. They have learned a lot from Chirine and she really knows how to work with kids. I highly recommend her!
Chirine is a really patient teacher and becoming a friend, too! I had very minor exposure to the Arabic alphabet before we met, and in my first class she took me through it all again in a very encouraging and positive manner. I feel confident learning from her, as Arabic is her first language. She takes you through the classes at your own pace - if you want to self-study, she'll meet you where you are at the next class and help you to excel at your pace. If you prefer to keep the Arabic learning to her classes, she will take you through it more slowly. Chirine is very personable, and through our classes we have become friends. It is very helpful to get along well with your teacher; makes the learning experience all that more enjoyable!
Chirine is a great tutor, she really knows her Arabic and was eager to communicate her knowledge. She's very patient - you can't go wrong!
Chirine is just amazing and a really helpful teacher. She made me feel comfortable from the first class I had.
She answers all my questions and I'm learning a lot from her. I would recommend her to everyone who is looking for a good and fun teacher.
She is helping my French. I am glad to have a tutor like her because she explains French grammar well and makes it easy to understand.
Chirine is a very nice and sweet person with a good sense of humor. I had just begun Arabic lessons with her and in no time I could see the best results. Her lessons are enjoyable and fun, but at the same time effective. I would definitely recommend her to someone who's looking to learn Arabic in an easy going and efficient way. Amazing person!
Chirine loves Arabic. Really loves Arabic. And that shines through her tutoring. She's patient with my slow reading, answering my grammatical questions systematically and with humor. She's a find.
She is very easy going and it is perfect for reviewing conversational French with her. It is very enjoyable. I would recommend her!
My son is completely new to French. Chirine always praises him, so my son enjoys himself very much. He takes a long time to answer the question, but Chirine is always patient. I would highly recommend her.
Chirine's brilliant sessions with my daughter have inspired her learning of french. Chirine's passion for teaching and optimism for learning french is obvious with each of our lessons. Merci Beaucoup Chirine!
Chirine always explains everything (grammar; pronunciation; etc) very well and when I have questions, she answers them clearly. She will come up with a plan for your lessons, but is also willing to go-with-the-flow and let you decide the focus. I would definitely recommend her as a tutor!
Chirine challenges you to try your hardest but still understands that we are human and make mistakes. She is very patient and listens to you, helps you to form sentences and learn new concepts. I would definitely recommend using her as a tutor as she is very knowledgeable!
Chirine's tutoring sessions are challenging but incredibly efficient. She does not overwhelm you with information -- and gives you enough freedom to voice your opinion about the pace of the lessons -- but does not coddle you. She expects you to use available resources in the time between sessions so that you will more quickly learn the alphabet and master some vocabulary.
She's highly recommendable!
Chirine is an excellent tutor. I've tried taking classes with professional professors but never was able to learn the language well. However, Chirine was actually the best teacher I have had so far even though I just started with her. This is because she is very smooth with linking the material. She is also a native speaker in french which makes it better for the observer to learn from. Chirine is organized, fun, very natural, and friendly. Shes also felxible with her students; she tries to get to know the best way to deliver information by adjusting to your preferable way of spending the lesson. I recommend her.
Being completely new to Arabic, I was unsure of what to expect when attempting to learn this beautiful, albeit difficult language. Chirine has exceeded my expectations. She is passionate about teaching and motivates her students to succeed. She tailors each lesson to meet the needs of the student and provides a planned and systematic approach where a large task is divided into small, attainable goals. After each session, I am motivated to go over and master the material and by the third session, I was already able to count, tell time, and speak basic phrases.
I am truly impressed with how much I have already learned and it is exciting to keep your vocabulary growing. Before I started, I was unsure whether I would be able to learn the language, I am now confident that I will be able to succeed in learning Arabic with Chirine. Whether your goal is to learn to speak and write Arabic formally or just learn enough to become conversant, Chirine is the tutor for you. I would highly recommended her to anyone who wants to learn Arabic.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Marhaban (Hello in Arabic):
I'm a Native Arabic Speaker, born and raised in Lebanon. I graduated with a Bachelor degree in Law from the Lebanese University and practiced law (Qanoun) over there for 4 years.
I have been working as an Arabic Language Instructor/tutor in the Boston area for the past 2 years. Students, especially beginners, enjoy getting acquainted with this new language. Learning to identify the new letters, to write them from right to left, to connect them and make words, and to pronounce them -- Especially the seven letters that are Heavy, so that the mouth is full with its resonance, is the beginning of the fun!
I'm a passionate teacher, and would welcome the opportunity to be able to assist and help you succeed with your learning goals -- whether you just want some assistance with your Arabic Homework, or you just want to learn a new language for travel, work, or just as a new academic challenge.
Shukran Jazeelan! (Thank You very much!)
