After my B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and my B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, I have already spent 23 years teaching and tutoring a variety of students. I have tutored Math to students in secondary and vocational schools. Most of my teaching experience was in Physics and Math materials to students at university level. Part of my tutoring experience was with students in secondary school with French, my lovely language.
My teaching method varies with the student level. For instance, my teaching style is fun and patient but rigorous with students in secondary and vocational schools. But, at university level, instead of solving problems for the students, I'd rather lead, guide and teach them how to search for solutions themselves. So, the teaching method should be adjusted according to the student level. And the student should be evaluated before the tutoring begins.
Any way, whatever the student level, teaching is fun, exiting and fascinating when tutors eager to teach are connected to students eager to learn.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
