I enjoyed working with Claudia and look forward to continuing to study with her. She is relaxed and focused on the areas that I need to concentrate on in order to improve my Italian. Although I've been studying Italian for many years I believe that I learned a few new ways of forming a sentence today! The best part is that Claudia listens and responds to my questions and concerns.
Claudia is THE ideal Italian tutor who provides superior assistance and fosters deeper knowledge and understanding in students that are eager to learn. Her knowledge of all things Italian is not only present through her fluency with the language but also through her ability to impart welcomed information of the culture, linguistics, and customs. She is extremely patient and makes sure that her student has a clear, overall view of what the topic is at hand. She provides a plethora of tips on how to improve on the skills needed to work towards mastery. She goes above and beyond, sending material to help you better understand the lesson and developing interesting topics of conversation and reading comprehension. She is tech savvy and makes lessons convenient by conducting them via Skype if needed. Consistently dependable and courteous - Claudia is worth every penny!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
