I have been tutoring ever since I was in high school. After successfully completing AP Chemistry in 11th grade, my teacher offered me a position as his teaching assistant. This required me to hold weekly office hours, during which I would answer students' most pressing questions. Closer to test days, I would prepare problem sets and host problem sessions to go over concepts in detail. In college, I tutored several high school students. I helped one student achieve a 5 on the AP Chemistry exam and improved another student's SAT Math score from a 670 to 770 over two weeks. Last year, I was the Nursing Department tutor at Mount St. Mary's University in LA, where I taught pharmacology and pathophysiology.

My experiences have taught me that the key to success is establishing a solid foundation before getting into the nitty gritty of the material. What I really like about teaching is the moment when a student just gets it. There is a sense of satisfaction when difficult concepts are fully understood. The journey of getting to this point is hard work, and I am passionate about being there every step of the way to make this a reality for my students, just as my teachers in the past have done the same for me.

Improved one students score from a 670 to 770 over a two-week period.

Helped an AP Chemistry student achieve a score of 5 on the AP exam. She now tells me that her introductory college chemistry course is a breeze because of our tutoring sessions.
Last year, I was the Nursing Department tutor at Mount St. Mary's University in LA, where I taught nursing students the foundational principles of pharmacology and pathophysiology and how they relate to the clinical reasoning a nurse uses to take care of patients.

I have helped 10+ students with their college admissions e

Knowledgeable and Great Tutor

Nar worked with my daughter who is a senior on Balancing Equations and Word Problems in Chemistry. I loved that he got a clear understanding of her knowledge before just jumping in to work on assignments. He questioned her during the process to ensure she understood the work and had her explain problems to him. He is big on ensuring that foundational information is understood so she was learning correctly. This was her first lesson with Nar and she finished feeling more confident in her understanding of the work. Great Tutor and she will be meeting with him a couple of times a week.

Great teacher

It was Nar’s first time on Wyzant and he did an excellent job at it! He helped me learn how to solve a problem that I didn’t even know to approach and I can say that I do now thanks to his help! He’s very intelligent and he knows how to teach in a way that I understand what he’s saying! If you’re looking for a tutor, pick him! He’s the best!
