I have been tutoring for as long as I can remember, beginning with my siblings, then my classmates, my college tutoring job, and now while I am in medical school! I completed my B.S. in Biological Sciences, but I always really loved math, and that is what I spent a majority of my time tutoring. I have been tutoring for as long as I can remember, beginning with my siblings, then my classmates, my college tutoring job, and now while I am in medical school! I completed my B.S. in Biological Sciences, but I always really loved math, and that is what I spent a majority of my time tutoring. However, working on a campus with 80,000 students brought in large crowds of very diverse people; so I actually ended up tutoring all sorts of courses. I tutored math courses beginning with introductory algebra, all the way through calculus II, but I also tutored general chemistry I and II, introductory biology I and II, upper division biology courses, physics I, and statistics. I think that all of these years of tutoring have really helped me to better individualize my tutoring skills to fit each individual's needs. We always hear that some people are visual learners, and others are auditory; but there is much more to it than that. Each person has a lightbulb, but everyone has a different way of turning on the switch. With each student, I work to quickly identify where the gap in their understanding first occurred, and adjust my guidance to fit their individual learning style. Then we can begin filling in the gaps one at a time so that everyone can reach that "aha!" moment. I promise that a little work will go a long way with me!

At its core, mathematics is a language. But unlike regular human languages, you can rely on the rules to not have any arbitrary exceptions! So when it comes to helping a student with basic algebra, if you can help them understand the "fundamental grammar" of properties like ab=ba and a(b+c)=ab+ac to the point that they become second nature, then all the rest will invariably unlock for them, just as learning the basics of SVO leads one down the path to beautiful prose.

I'm a medical school student and a student doctor, medicine is my passion and I'm committed to being a physician dedicated to caring for undeserved patient populations. As a medical scribe and rising medical school student I have extensive experience and understanding of medicine, clinical diagnosis, HPI and pathophysiology. I can confidently help you with these subjects and give you the tools to master tough concepts. I have helped international students with Step 1 USMLE exams, and nursing students with understanding pathophysiology and the pathogenesis of various diseases.

I have grown up speaking both Arabic and Urdu.
